It is the many practical details from all the fields of activity of underground engineering and canalisation, the different special tricks that we constantly learn from daily work, in order to solve newly appearing problems as the situations require. Exactly this experience, of soon to be fifty years, around and in canalisation, has flowed into UHRIG Plant Construction, for which an in-house team has long worked

• Machine Engineering in Construction and Building
  
  The UHRIG machine engineering department constructs and produces all necessary machines needed for the underground and canalisation engineering in house. This encompasses overhauling the machine fleet, extensions and rebuilding of excavators, excavator attachments, devices or accessories. It includes the construction and building of attachment devices and vertical sheeting systems, but also hydraulic and supply aggregates, and ranges all the way to electronic and control technology.
• Flushing Aggregates
  
  Modern flushing aggregates mark a wide field of activities in canalisation management, with which UHRIG complements its range of services in canalisation. Since the operation of large canal pipe systems is only possible free of deposits when they are cleaned regularly.
• Cascading Weirs
  
  Individually or connected, weirs have the task in cascades, to store sewage in canal volumes, to hold it back, and to purify the spread section using surge flushing. This way of management from present volumes in the canal system is itself an extremely cost-reducing measure as compared the extensive construction and operation of normal retarding or overflow basins.
