The Deutsche Institut für Bautechnik [the German Institute for Construction Engineering] has checked and approved the Quick-Lock procedure. The operating safety of the Quick-Lock system in the installed condition – also after many years – was impressively confirmed by the test results. In addition, the procedure was awarded the innovation prize of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, the Dr. Rudolf Eberle Prize.

• Alsdorf
  
  In the city of Alsdorf a canal rehabilitation was performed in September 2006. The old asbestos cement pipes showed an invert breakage with strong infiltration. Along the entire length of the pipes of 225 metres, 280 Quick-Lock sleeves, DN 700, and 156 Quick-Lock sleeves, DN 800, were installed in six days.

  In the city of Dachau over 100 sleeves in 50 pipe sections were installed for rail drainage. The type of pipe: partial seeping pipe PVC DN 300. The damage pattern showed systems of cracks. Difficult limit conditions were added because the work took place between the rails ...
