QUiST - Intelligent Sealing in a systematic Way

For Engineers in the civil and building sectors the secure and water tight sealing of all joints has been a very real concern and in some cases a real challenge to the products available. Joints are necessary and work as a flexible expansion and contraction element compensating the natural movement and temperature fluctuations causing movement in all Structures.

QUiST Joint Compression Profile

In the building industry Elastomeric products which have proved to be a useful and durable method for sealing joints in Structures for decades, is widely used as a standardised product in nearly all building and pipe joints today.

There is a high requirement and expectancy on the products especially in cases where there is a high water table and water pressure affecting the building or structure.

The QUiST joint compression profi le made from Elastomeric materials is specially designed and suited for a permanent sealing in conditions where a constant high pressure water table is present. This is both an effective and economic Solution for joint rehabilitation.

• Why use QUiST?
  
  During pipe installation joints and pipe connections are not consistent when not seated correctly. The QUiST joint compression profile is able to compensate for these tolerance discrepancies in the joints and seal the unequal joint spaces.
• Successfully installed - 200 Pipe Joints in Cologne (GER)
  
  At the beginning of 2010 the newly developed QUiST Joint Compression Profile was installed in a pipe system in Köln-Junkersdorf. The newly developed compression profile QUiST was used as a secondary sealing for the existing pipeline.
