In the development of the system was chosen cross-section geometry according to the "dry weather gutter" type in order to guarantee high performance of the channel. This form improves the hydraulics in the channel and allows high performance in heat transfer, even with low sewage flow. In addition, the formation of bio film at the heat exchanger is reduced by the self-cleaning surface.

Due to a clutch system the several compact heat exchanger elements can be connected easily. This modular concept can be fitted, removed or extended without any problems.
