Helmut UHRIG Straßen- und Tiefbau GmbH now proudly looks back on a 50 year company history. UHRIF is still managed as a family-owned company, now in its third generation. The following are our most important milestones:

2017

Christoph von Bothmer undertakes the company leadership of Helmut UHRIG Straßen- und Tiefbau GmbH
The company is passed on to its third generation

2015

Market introduction of the patented compactor spoon, series VDL300S to VDL1400
Sales cooperation with Kiesel GmbH is started

2014

UHRIG receives contract from Emschergenossenschaft
With this contract, UHRIG participates in the largest European sewer construction project

2013

UHRIG Straßen- und Tiefbau GmbH turns 50 years old
At the company seat in Geisingen, there was a large celebration with guests from politics and the economy

2013

UHRIG brings the “proline” excavator attachment compactor series to the market
The attachment compactors are sold new as well as used

2012

Helmut Uhrig, the founder of our company, dies

2012

Market introduction of the liner end cuff under the brand Quick-Lock
System for the connection of hose liners to pipes and buildings

2011

UHRIG receives the contract to supply the Elysée Palast in Paris with energy from wastewater
With this contract, the eighth system for deriving energy from wastewater is realized in Paris

2010

Market introduction of the Quick-Lock big cuff
Worldwide sales are started

2009

Cooperation contract with Suez-Gruppe Paris starts
Focus: Project development for energy supply from wastewater in France

2008

Office in Krefeld is opened, emphasis: systems engineering and network management
UHRIG offers hardware and software for the optimal operation of sewer networks

2007

Market introduction of the patented Therm-Liner systems
UHRIG brings energy supply from wastewater to the market

2001

First use and patenting of the UHRIG pipe laying robot
With this system, pipes can be laid without manual intervention

2000

First use and patenting of the UHRIG pipe zone compressor

1998

Large construction site on the Bodensee
Testing of the “UHRIG system” in the formation of drainage for the new fair in Friedrichshafen

UHRIG receives the Rudolf Eberle prize, the prize for innovation from the region of Baden-Württemberg
The Quick-Lock system was awarded

First use and patenting of the UHRIG floor preparation system
Conceived and implemented for inner-city sewer construction sites

First use of excavator-led attachment compactors for sewer construction

1993

Founding of UHRIG Kanaltechnik GmbH
Occasion: introduction of Quick Lock, a patented sewer renovation system that today is sold worldwide

Entrance of the second generation into the company
