Automatic control

Exploit the potential of automatic weirs & aggregates thanks to digitalisation

The constant digitalisation of everyday life does not stop at water management and sewer network operations. It also unfolds enormous potential here. Modern systems help to implement grid management ever more efficiently, effectively and cost-consciously. Measurement technology is used in combination with network technology. The connecting basis for the sophisticated control of weirs and units is well thought-out software that is adapted to the required processes. UHRIG has specialised in the development of such complex, digital systems for automated sewer management. We develop and install state-of-the-art technology for your wastewater infrastructure.

The infrastructure in the sewer – such as weirs and aggregates – can also be specifically addressed via automated control, thus offering new potential for resource-saving operation. The basis for this is measurement technology installed in the canal. It functions as hardware on site, so to speak, because it collects data and forwards it to a control centre in an automated way. The transmission process is handled by modern, tried and tested network technology. The control centre evaluates the incoming measurement data in real time. Algorithms automatically analyse the condition and decide which processes are to be executed. The instructions are transmitted to the weirs and/or aggregates in the canal, which now raise or lower their gates accordingly and thus regulate the flow rate. Human intervention is only required when there are problems. And here, too, the systems report in good time so that dangers to the infrastructure can be averted early on. UHRIG also relies on complete systems for automated control. From planning to construction and production to software, everything comes from a single source. The systems are designed for the individual conditions on site and can be retrofitted at any time. We always hand over a complete turnkey service with a functional guarantee that includes state-of-the-art hardware and software solutions.

Measurement Technology

Modern measuring sensors for the sewer system

Smart technology is not only revolutionising everyday work and leisure. It is also now a key feature in modern infrastructure. The future of urban planners is smart: from smart homes to smart grids to connected smart cities. Smart cities need the digital infrastructure not only above ground but also underground.

Network technology

For the control system: Key interface between hardware & software

Even the sewage system can be connected to the "Internet of Things" and thus linked to smart technology. Thanks to network technology, sewer management has never been easier. UHRIG makes modern sewer networks smart!

Software & Circuits

Technology is one aspect, targeted control the other

Only targeted control of the systems makes it possible to fully exploit the potential of the digitalisation of wastewater systems. Without appropriate control and thus programmed algorithms, the best technology and the most modern systems are of little use. UHRIG therefore not only plans and optimises the sewage system from start to finish. Our IT specialists also optimise the associated software and develop individual solutions.

Our aim is constantly to set new economic and ecological standards in our areas of competence. That is why we particularly focus on:
