System description

The Quick-Lock system has been successfully used for many years as a repair procedure for closed sewer renovation. The basis of our development and production are quality and sustainability. Function principle
  • The Quick-Lock system tightens and stabilizes the damage purely mechanically, without building chemistry and independent of pipe material.
  • With the patented Quick-Lock closure, a secure compression of the EPDM seal is guaranteed.
  • The cuff remains elastically situated after the renovation and accepts movements of the pipe lines.
  • With longer damages, the Quick-Lock cuffs are used in series one after the other.
  • The Quick-Lock cuff is moved via a sewer camera or robotic system, with a compressor and the Quick-Lock offset packer.

Area of use

The area of use for the Quick-Lock cuff is varied. Whether horizontal or vertical, over or under the water level, it’s all okay for the Quick-Lock cuff. Because of the high quality and the resistance of materials used, Quick-Lock can be used not just in sewer renovation, but also in the field of drinking water, or for industrial uses.

Closed sewer renovation

The Quick-Lock system can be successfully used in many cases of damage:

  • Crack systems
  • Debris formation
  • Infiltration and exfiltration
  • Root ingrowing
  • Looseness
  • Sealing of blind inflows

If the damage is longer than the sealing range of an individual cuff, the Quick-Lock cuffs can be arranged one after the other as long as needed. The overlapping rubber seal ensures a tight seal.

Industrial use

The materials used for the Quick-Lock cuff, V4A stainless steel and EPDM, have a high resistance to corrosion and heat. Thus, there is a multitude of possibilities for use in the area of industrial pipe systems. The V4A 1.4404 stainless steel used can also absolutely be used with high pollutant concentrations of acids and bases. EPDM can be used for temperatures up to 120 degrees and withstands high concentrations of acids and bases. Before using Quick-Look in the area of industry, the resistance of the V4A stainless steel and the EPDM seal must be checked by wastewater analysis.

Mobile use

If a component cannot be reached with the renovation truck, such as, for example, on landfills, for rail drainage systems or tunnel drainage, Quick-Lock can be used in mobile fashion with the transportable equipment.

Drainage area

Quick-Lock cuffs can be produced in perforated fashion for use in fountains, horizontal wells, and seepage pipes. The water absorption capability of the pipe system remains intact and the static is again generated.

Pre-sealing and pre-stabilization

With extreme infiltration or a static stabilization, Quick-Lock can be used as a pre-sealant for hose lining measures. The set Quick-Lock cuff can hardly be seen under the hose liner.

Pressure pipelines

The Quick-Lock system can be used in pressure pipelines with an inner pressure of up to 10 bar.



The materials used, V4A stainless steel and EPDM rubber, have proven themselves in pipe construction for decades. The stainless steel material quality used, 1.4404 (316L), is durable virtually without limitation.

The rubber seal made of EPDM corresponds to the current state of sealing technology in pipe construction, with a very high life expectancy and a very high durability.

For special uses in industry, refineries, and salinated water, we would be happy to provide you with the stainless steel cuff in special alloys upon request. We also offer a rubber seal in NBR quality for use with oils, greases & hydrocarbons. For drinking water purposes, we offer a drinking water seal with KTW approval.

Delivery program

You can get the Quick-Lock cuffs in two configurations:

  • Variant 1: Overall length 400 mm, Diameter DN 150-400, Inner pipe pressure 10 bar, Exterior pipe pressure 1.5 bar
  • Variant 2: Overall length 500 mm, Diameter DN 450-800, Inner pipe pressure 10 bar, Exterior pipe pressure 1.5 bar

Quick-Lock cuffs must be installed with the respective Quick-Lock offset packer; only in such a way is a qualitative service ensured. For pipe interior diameters that are not standardized, you can get a variety of special measures from us. We would be happy to provide you with personal guidance for use in pressure pipe renovation. In case of damages in drainage pipes or filter piping, Quick-Lock is available as a perforated cuff.

Quality and proofs

In addition to the qualitatively high-quality product, we place the greatest value on professional use by our providers. Repairs of wastewater pipes and sewers by interior cuffs is regulated in the new data sheet DWA M 143-5.

Quick-Lock has been approved for construction since 2005 by the Deutsche Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt). The approval regulates the quality assurance of the Quick-Lock system with all of its components. We are monitored twice per year by the Materialprüfanstalt Darmstadt.

The requirements for the resistance to high-pressure flooding of the pipe and renovation systems is regulated in DIN 19523. The Quick-Lock system fulfills the same requirements as a newly laid pipe system in accordance with this norm. 60 flushing sequences with a pressure of 110 bar on the nozzle and a concluded tightness test were the requirements that were successfully fulfilled.

Through the use of the Quick-Lock system, the structural stability of the pipe is restored. Quick-Lock is the only partial renovation system with a type static for existing pipe conditions, originating from a hydrostatic water pressure of 5 m water columns with twofold static security.
