The UHRIG Group was founded more than 55 years ago by Helmut Uhrig in Geisingen (Baden-Württemberg) as a family company. At that time, our core competence was road construction and civil engineering. However, UHRIG never stands still. Since then we have not only moved vast amounts of earth, rock and water. We have also continued to develop and therefore changed the entire civil engineering sector.
The UHRIG developments, which resulted in specific products such as the Quick-Lock-System, the Therm-Liner or our UAM compactor buckets, set industry-wide standards in terms of efficiency, economy and ecology. Despite the international export success “UHRIG = Quality Made in Germany”, we never forget our roots. We feel deeply connected to our home region of Baden-Württemberg and to our employees. We know very well that the UHRIG system can only be implemented as a team. Therefore, we maintain a respectful cooperation within the company.
