Civil engineering

We are technology and market leaders in the civil engineering sector. With our patented processes, we set economic and ecological standards. We consider our social mandate and our responsibility as helping to bring civil engineering on the path of decarbonisation with sustainability and CO2 reduction. We cover a wide range in civil engineering and also include sewer and road construction, water crossings, lowered structures or dynamic drives.

 

Heat from wastewater

In the interests of the energy transition, we want to exploit the heat potential that is in our wastewater. To do so, at UHRIG we have developed the Therm-Liner, our wastewater heat exchanger, which is now used in over 120 systems in Europe. Our heat exchanger system can be used in existing and new construction ducts without any problems. It is therefore a competitive and climate-friendly option for heating and cooling buildings.

Intelligent sewer networks

UHRIG develops plants and control systems for innovative and future-oriented sewer network management. We support sewer network operators in setting up intelligent sewer networks and in optimising existing systems. We also market our sewer rehabilitation products under the Quick-Lock brand. The Quick-Lock system is suitable both as a sole repair method and in combination with pipe liner systems to restore the full stability and impermeability of a sewer. Trenchless sewer rehabilitation is inexpensive and efficient.

 

Attachment compactor

To optimise our work in civil engineering, we have been developing our own devices and machines for many years, which we sell under the UAM proline brand. This includes, for example, our robust and highly specialised attachment compactors. Our sales partner for all products in the field of attachment compactors is Kiesel GmbH.
